Another historic milestone was reached on March 22, when President Barack Obama paid a visit to Cuban President Raul Castro.  Since late 2014, the two governments have been working to lift the 54-year embargo and resume relations.  “What the United States was doing was not working,” Obama said in a speech.  He told Castro, “You do not need to fear a threat from the United States.”
